Diceboi Berra
Brooklyn-born songwriter, producer and artist Diceboi Berra, released his latest album 66 DEGREES OF HEARTBREAK in 2019. His catalogue of projects to date — The Terror, DAYTONA, Terror 2, PHNTM and 66 Degrees of Heartbreak — portray an intriguing variety of melodic verses and raw, lyrical talent.
What is your definition of changemaker?
Being a changemaker is a mindset, a person who can make a situation more than what it is and improve upon it for their own good or that of a collective.
What is the biggest challenge you have experienced as a changemaker?
Finding consistency, direction and a team that can help translate ideas into final products that would represent all that I aspire to create as an artist. Being able to bring to my art the eye-opening experiences I live through such traveling which has changed the way I view the world.
How do you bring about change in your life, in your community, or in your field?
With the pursuit of progression in my circumstances by collaborating with other artists or educating the youth and lead the next generation on the different options available to help them overcome stereotypes.
What is your hope for the next generations?
The understanding that real change only comes when we make it happen. Change is good for those who have less opportunities in society but it also scares those who will be affected by that change.
